One desk for the decision, then the update.

Turnwell is built so a manager can see why a price was proposed and decide what happens next. Faster turn is the point of that workflow. It is not a statistic we are publishing.

Used appraisal and pricing

An appraisal keeps the walkaround, recon estimate, and customer details in their own record. Inventory does not inherit a customer’s name.

Pricing review shows the current price, the proposed price, the reason, and the confidence. A manager can select, skip, hold, edit, or apply. A hold expires. A skip is not a permanent block.

The market target and an optional markdown are calculated separately. When both are reductions, the proposal is the smaller cut. The price on the car changes only after approval and a confirmed update.

New-car conquest desk

New inventory carries VIN, stock, MSRP, invoice, holdback, store tag, and days in stock. Incentives keep eligibility and an end date.

The desk ranks a unit against same-trim competitor units, shows price-to-market, and flags aged stock. The stack calculator shows customer net and front gross. Dealer cash is not treated as a customer discount.

A new-car price change is a proposal. The syndicated price stays where a manager last approved it.

VIN decode

NHTSA vPIC is a public decode for year, make, model, body, engine, and drivetrain. Turnwell caches that response. It does not require a partner account.

Trim, factory options, and MSRP need a build-data provider such as DataOne or Chrome. That integration is available. It is not live.

Syndication feeds

Each destination has a field map, include and exclude rules, a price type, photo selection, and a schedule. Generators cover CSV and TSV layouts in the style of Cars.com, AutoTrader, and CarGurus, plus a Facebook catalog, a Google Vehicle Listing file, and website XML and JSON.

Before a push, the desk shows what would be added, removed, or repriced. Only a manager-approved price is written into the file.

Sending the file over SFTP or HTTP needs that site’s agreement and credentials. Delivery is an integration available, not a live connection.

Recon

Each rooftop keeps its own labor rate, parts markup, used-vehicle pack, and CPO fee. A manager can turn the pack off. CPO is added only when someone checks it. Labor and markup are applied once. Sublet passes through.

Maintenance due at the odometer is an estimated schedule unless a paid maintenance source is connected. Photo damage is a proposal a manager confirms. It does not price itself.

Photo studio

Guided capture walks the car. Appraisal evidence works without the photo add-on. A studio preset letterboxes the original so the vehicle itself is not redrawn.

A generative image provider is not connected. Photo publishing to a marketplace is an integration available once that destination allows it.
